The Friday Jan 23 segment of On the Positive Side featured Cassie's Charity Bears. The segment featured both Cassie and Chief Keith Morse along with photos and video of many bears! Reporter Chilekasi Adele did a wonderful job describing Cassie's bear making process and the importance of the bears in comforting and calming kids that are in emergency situations. Charity Bear Drop Off at Tri-Community South EMS
On January 12, our first charity bear donation was made to the Tri-Community South EMS. Special thanks to Administrator Amy Rusenko who organized the drop-off. We felt honored to have EMS Chief Keith Morse meet with Cassie to personally accept her bears. It's been a long adventure! After a year of hard work, Cassie's bears are off to their new adventure to bring comfort to kids who need the care of Tri-Community South emergency services. Amy informed us today, January 14

Sewing Comfort: Our Mission
Quite simply, we love stuffies! Our home is filled with over 100 stuffies! Sure, it can be a bit overwhelming at times, but every single stuffy is unique with his/her own comfort story and warm qualities. Most importantly, each stuffy is a part of our family. Our stuffies have provided a limitless number of hugs (when hugs were needed the most), and we cannot thank our stuffies enough for the selfless love that they have given over the past decade.
